Another day of no spending. Hung out at home and worked on house stuff. We got the doors and windows on the shed, I did some cleaning of the house (yuck, bathroom scrubbing), and read more of the Non Consumer Advocate blog. I'm reading through the whole archives--I am totally in love with that blog.
I need to admit that it is easier for me to do this than most. I am only responsible for myself when it comes to money. My bf's finances are completely and totally separate from mine. So when I say I had a NSD, it only applies to me. Bf could spend $100 and it wouldn't matter to me. It works for us. I used to be married to a spender and we had a lot of conflict about money. I'm not in any hurry to merge my finances with anyone.
Also, I am not responsible for taking care of any children or parents or anyone but me and bf. Makes cleaning, cooking, and planning much easier. So, I admit, I have it easier than most. I know it.
Day 8 Numbers:
